Here at the Young Mommies Help Site, we recognize the value of young moms as their own "experts" of their life situations. Although there are lots of great parenting books out there, we know that many of these great books don't include the voices of young parents. We have different needs, different life situations, and therefore some of the things we might find out there for the "average" parent don't apply to us! For example, the many books that tell you to drive your colicky baby around in your car or give her/him to your husband.

By not including our stories, advice that is applicable to us, and information about the realities of being a young mom, these mainstream sources sometimes devalue our experience. In the "YM Share Pages", we place the emphasis on young moms as knowledgable women with lots to say on the positives and negatives of parenting. We hope you will find helpful and applicable information for you here.
