Well let me just say, I am so grateful for new brakes, and new tires, cause with out them, I sure as hell would have been in the ditch. MAN OH MAN, all I can say is, I swear I’m going in the ditch one of these days. Over here in the good’ol miswest, it’s been awfully cold, and awfully snowy. I live up in northern Wisconsin, and we get a great deal of snow. Well it snowed and the plows went through, but really only packed down all the snow in the country, well I live in town, but I have to drive 10 miles out of town to bring Ry to day care. So I dropped her off at day care, and was on my way to school, this is a very curvy road, so I’m going like 20 possible 30 but whatever, I was going the speed limit for the conditions, and I got around the curve at about 15 and I swear I almost went into the ditch, my front tires caught the poofy snow, and my back tires went in and out of the snow to the road, it was crazy. I was so scare, and so gratefully Ry was not in the car with me. Man, now I know to drive better!!! 🙂
How about some ditch?
December 22nd, 2008Welcome!
December 3rd, 2008The Blogging Mommy is Sylvia (18)
Her Kiddos are Rylee Anne (almost 11 months)
Her location is Antigo, Wisconsin, in other words, the middle of no whereville
How old are you now and how old are your munchkins? I was 17 years old when I had Rylee, I am now 18.
If you could describe your child in 3 words what would they be? I’d say, funny, sweet, and energetic.
What’s an average day like for you these days? On school days, I wake up around 6 get in the shower, get ready. I’ll then wake up Rylee get her dressed and feed, then out the door we are to day care. While she’s at daycare I go to school as a seniory in high school. Once I get out of school I pick her up than we spend the rest of our day at home. Have dinner around 6 than bath time than bed!
If you had a day all to yourself (kid free & lottery financed) how would you spend it? I would so go to the spa, and try to go shopping. I never get time to myself so I would love to just go to the spa and relax!
What would you say your parenting style is like? I’d say I’m a pretty laid back parent for now. I say no when I have too, but only ever than. I’m sure once she gets older I’ll probably be as laid back as I can be, as long as she stays out of trouble.
What do you feel you have enough of in life? What do you want more of? Less of? I think I have enough love in my life, I have a very supportive family, my family is so loving and helpful. I don’t know what I would do with out them.
How “blended” is your family? Are you still with the dad of your kids? Who has whose last name? My last name and Rylee’s last names are different. She has her fathers last name, and I do not. But if we get married one day I will.
What are some of your pet peeves? Oh pet peeves, I really hate when people try to convince me I’m a bad parent because of my age. Age is nothing but a number, and I am very mature, and take responsiblity for my actions.
What are the most unique things about yourself? I am way more mature than most 18 year old girls. I take full responsiblity for every thing I’ve done, and I plan to keep it that way. Even before I had a baby I was very responsible.
And finally, what’s your writing/blogging style? When I write, I kind of just ramble on and on and on. But whatever.
