Are you tired of all those baby books that say "Just hand the baby over to your
husband if you need a break!"? Are you feeling so overwhelmed by all the work
you need to do singlehandedly? Are you upset that your baby's father doesn't
have to do all the work that you do for the child that is supposed to be both
of yours? But are you often glad that you don't have to put up with a partner around?
Are you happy that you can make the decisions you feel are right for you child,
with no other parent interfering too much? Are you enjoying being single and
being able to spend all your attention on your children?
Are you looking for a group of moms to talk to about being a single parent that will
help and support you? Would you prefer a late night chat on the computer with moms you
have come to trust instead of the hassle of finding (and finding a way to pay for!)
a sitter to come and watch your child(ren) for the night so you can go out with friends?
Do you feel that most of your friends don't really want to talk about "single mom" stuff,

The Young Single Mommies Community is for any mother under the age of
25 raising her child or children without a life partner. Come and meet other
young/teen single mommies to discuss the unique challenges (and the positives!)
of solo parenting!
The YMH list moderators and coordinators pride ourselves in the fact that our lists
are "safe havens" for mothers online. We make sure that all members of our groups
follow the
Community Guidelines to ensure that our lists have ALL of the supportive
and positive energies our moms want, but NONE of the negative energies from those
who are not commited to helping maintain a "safe zone" for mommies...
So if you have been in search of a list where you can be yourself in a safe and positive
environment, then your search is over. :)
