Are you tired of people looking down on you for being married young? Tired of those same people making brash statements about your marriage and how it "won't last"? Tired of people looking down on you for being pregnant again, and balking when you tell them that you planned your pregnancy? Do you need someone to talk to that understands what you are going through to keep your marriage together? Have you been told that getting married young will "end your life" or that you are/or have made, "the biggest mistake in your life" for getting married young? Are you tired of the comments about money implying that if you just waited ten years to get married and/or have kids, you will be able to own a mansion and two new cars? Do you find that you are the only one you know under thirty that is married and has kids? Do you find that your single friends just "don't understand" you anymore, but cannot find married women your own age to talk to? Are you having trouble finding the time to take a bath, let alone searching for people that can understand what your day-to-day struggles are like?

If you have answered yes to one or more of these questions,
then this is the community for you!

The Young Married Mommies group is here to support you in your choice to get and remain married even though you are young and things are hard sometimes. We will be here to support you as you make even more choices about your families welfare, and stand by you when you seem unable to find peers anywhere.

Being young, married, and a mom brings extra challenges to each role. Somehow we need to juggle our own youth, our husbands, our children, and sometimes even work and school all at the same time. We have embarked by choice into unique and often challenging circumstances, and this groups is all about supporting one another through all of these challenges and joys.

The YMH list moderators and coordinators pride ourselves in the fact that our lists are "safe havens" for mothers online. We make sure that all members of our groups follow the Community Guidelines to ensure that our lists have ALL of the supportive and positive energies our moms want, but NONE of the negative energies from those who are not commited to helping maintain a "safe zone" for mommies...

So if you have been in search of a list where you can be yourself in a safe and positive environment, then your search is over. :)
