I was born in Canada's capital - Ottawa, Ontario and have lived in Canada all my life. I wouldn't change this for the world! I am so proud of my country and where I live. We have awesome healthcare, great parks and beautiful scenery, a super sense of humour, a solid government systen, and most importantly, an amazing respect for diversity, language and culture.

So to all my beaver-tail eating, canoe paddling, hockey-watching, "eh"-saying, sister and fellow Canadians, I say stand up and be proud of who you are and where you came from. :)

New Democratic Party ~ Canada's BEST political party (IMHO)! I hope Canada decides to give them a chance at the next Federal Election and more people vote for this awesome party! They fight for women's issues & minority issues, for children, for the environment, for better education and health care, and for many other important issues! Vote NDP!!!

Royal Canadian Air Farce ~ Great political satire I've been listening to on CBC radio and watching on CBC television since I was young teen! Their new cast member Jessica Holmes also happens to be Paul's cousin's sister (ooh, that sounded way too Canadian - "Hey you're Canadian? Then you must know my neighbour's uncle Joe from Edmonton!").

Monday Report ~ Another hysterical political parody show that Paul and I like to watch every Monday night on CBC. They usually like to rotate which political party they make fun of in any given week, but they usually have George Bush jokes pretty consitently, which is a great bonus.
